The Top 10 countries with the Highest Minimum Wage

In the Philippines, the minimum daily wage ranges from P 250 to P 481, depending on the location. This amount is subject to tax and other mandatory deductions (SSS, Philhealth, etc.). With very low salary ranges, it’s no wonder why millions of Filipinos choose to work abroad where the pay is better to provide for their families.

So which country should you check out for possible employment? CNN has come up with a list of countries which have the highest minimum hourly wage (in USD) after income tax and mandatory deductions have been calculated. (peso values are based on exchange rate at the time of publication.)

10. United Kingdom: Take Home Pay: $7.06 (P 330.00)

Gross Wage: $ 7.85
Income Tax and Other Mandatory Deductions: 10.1%
