Soldier buys meals for two street children in Lapu-Lapu City

Early this year, a mystery man gave 200 soldiers from the Philippine Army dozens of Krispy Kreme donuts. The soldiers, who were at Bonifacio High Street for the static display event for the Philippine Army’s 118th anniversary, were dumbfounded after a certain Dexter Koh gave them 12 boxes of the famous donut. The story of the philanthropic surprise quickly became viral and touched the hearts of netizens.

It looks like a certain soldier from Lapu-Lapu City in Cebu is paying it forward. In a heartwarming photo uploaded on the Facebook page of Lapu-Lapu City, an unidentified soldier of the Philippine Air Force can be seen sharing a meal with two street children in Jollibee Gaisano Capital branch.

Facebook users commended soldier’s act of kindness. At the time of writing, the post has gained over 1,000 likes and almost 500 shares.
