6. Boy Abunda and Bong Quintana
The prominent TV host, also called the King of Talk, Boy Abunda has been in a relationship with his long time partner, Bong Quintana. The couple has been together for the past 30 years. Theirs is a story of trust and commitment, which they have kept steady through the years.
It is true that people don’t know who they are going to fall in love with. But so long as they are happy, contented, inspired, and satisfied with the relationship, no one should stand in the way of their happiness.
Forever- definition:adverb
1.for all future time; for always.
2.continually
I have a question: I hate to be a pessimist, but in terms of “continuity” and “for all future time” – these relationships would end in death, correct?
Death=mortal.
Mortal=not permanent.
This relationship could be kinda permanent IF they pass on their genes to their offspring. But this is biologically impossible. Hence, there is NO continuity.
In short, #WalangForever. So no, these couples do not make me believe in forever. But that’s just me. 🙂
Believing only in “Forever” biologically through offspring is very shallow. Something “Forever” can manifest in many forms such as legacies and other positive outputs that those couples will be able to do, that even death cannot just erase. Having children is also not a “guarantee” of continuity. So I believe that these couples can achieve forever, that is my opinion, but only time can tell. 🙂
