A man from Arayat, Pampanga killed and chopped up the body of his 18-year-old daughter on Wednesday, July 1, according to a report by ABS-CBN News.
Barangay Mesulo police revealed that the father identified as “Tony”, who admitted the crime to his relatives, confessed that he took the life of his daughter “Sheila” and buried her body near their house.
The police immediately went to the area to investigate and recovered Sheila’s dismembered body.
In order to avoid arrest, Tony boarded a ship bound for Mindoro and reportedly killed himself by jumping off the ship. The suspect’s alleged suicide is yet to be confirmed by the police.
Meanwhile, the relatives of the victims declined to give more details about the heinous crime.
