20-Year-Old Throws Tantrum After Dad Refuses to Buy Smartphone

A 20-year-old woman angrily stomped through the streets of Hubei, China before lying down on the pavement, in the midst of traffic.

jznews.com reports that the woman was out shopping with her father, and was dead-set on getting a smartphone worth RMB2,000 (about PhP14,600.) Upon finding out how much the phone cost, however, the father refused to push through with the the purchase.

Furious, the daughter stormed into the streets and threw a toddler-like tantrum. Fortunately, quick-acting traffic police responded before an accident could occur. They formed a human chain around the fuming-mad woman to protect her from rushing vehicles.

Meanwhile, the smartphone seller agreed to lower the price and the father was able to buy the phone for his 20-year-old. Police calmed the woman down, and she eventually was reunited with her father and was now a happy smartphone owner.
