Man ‘likes’ his own mugshot on Facebook, gets arrested

SEATTLE. In these days of social media, “think before you click” is something everyone should practice. This is what Levi Charles Reardon should have thought of before he clicked on the picture of his “wanted” mugshot on a Seattle area police Facebook page which soon led to his arrest.

Great Falls/Cascade Country Crimestoppers shared Reardon’s mugshot on their Facebook page. Reardon liked his own mugshot on the page, an act that led authorities to track him down.

Crimestoppers took a screenshot of Reardon liking his own mugshot before he got to “unlike” it.

Reardon, 23, was arrested on April 24 and faces forgery charges in which he’s suspected of stealing a wallet and personal checks.

He allegedly tried to cash out four of the missing checks and one was used at a grocery store following the report that a law enforcement officer contacted Reardon because of using illegal checks.

Reardon is set to face arraignment scheduled on May 7 (May 8 Philippine Time)
