Toni Gonzaga and Coco Martin in their first team up in You’re My Boss

After the success of Crazy Beautiful You, Star Cinema’s newest offer for summer is Coco Martin and Toni Gonzaga’s movie called “You’re My Boss.”

The two pair up for the romantic-comedy film “You’re My Boss,” directed by Antoinette Jadaone, who is also behind the success of independent film “That Thing Called Tadhana.”

The movie, which is Antoinette Jadaone’s first directorial job after the success of the indie flick “That Thing Called Tadhana,” marks the first big-screen team up of Gonzaga and Martin.

In the movie, Toni Gonzaga plays the boss of Martin, who portrays an assistant. But what will happen if the two switched jobs? The twist will arise and develop each character in the said movie.

There’s a certain cuteness and “kilig” that the tandem of Coco Martin and Toni Gonzaga bring onscreen in “You’re My Boss,” their first-ever movie together.

As seen in these teasers for the new Star Cinema romantic-comedy, Toni and Coco complement each other with the differences that their respective characters have: Toni as the boss seems sarcastic and serious, while Coco as the assistant looks cool, humble, and jolly. In one scene, Toni’s character even teases Coco’s and his penchant for Hawaii-inspired polo shirts.

During the interview, Coco Martin told that he learned a lot from Toni Gonzaga and whom he reiterate as the one who helped him become a good actor.

The Kapamilya actress wanted to finish first filming the movie before focusing her attention to her wedding this year. She even said she started to make friends and even stared with Coco during shooting breaks just to build chemistry and rapport to each other because they don’t have any on screen working relationship.

The movie is set on April 4, 2015 nationwide under Star Cinema and direction of Antoinette Jadaone.
