If you’re having trouble with your cell signal or internet connection these days, it’s probably brought about by the temporary disruption of services due to Pope’s Francis visit to the Philippines.

Telecommunications giants Smart and Globe have already issued an apology regarding the issue. According to the two companies, they’re cutting mobile signal and internet connection during Pope Francis’ arrival especially in areas surrounding his motorcade route.
