Quantum Films’ “English Only Please” would hardly fit in my list of memorable local rom-coms but it is sufficient.
The leads Derek Ramsay and Jennylyn Mercado have sufficient chemistry.
Jennylyn is sufficently endearing in playing her character. She is radiant in some sequences. Derek’s character would have been perfectly played by Sam Milby. There are times I cringe at his character’s attempt to spew Tagalog with an accent.
I believe this movie can be funnier and more interesting but for its random moments of kilig and quiet yet effective attempts to inject humor.
This flick is a 7/10.
Sorry ka na lang kasi nanalo na ng BEst Actress at BEst actor ang dalawa not to mention EOP is second BEst picture..
