Presenting the Android 5.0 : Lollipop

For those who are wondering what the next Android version name was, you guessed it right!

There have been a couple of guesses what the next Android version be and a lot of people agreed it would be Lollipop since it was one of the few sweets that starts with the letter “L”.

Though it’s features were already released with the announcement of Android Wear it was only called “Android L”, there were also rumors that Google will again team up with a different brand again for example Chupa-chups similar to what they did with Android Kit-kat which was expected to be Key Lime Pie.

Over the years Google had a lot of quirky names for Android like, angel cake, battenberg, cupcake, donut, eclair, froyo , gingerbread, honeycomb, ice cream sandwich, jellybean, kit kat and finally Lollipop, ofcourse the next Android name will start with a letter “M” if you have any ideas leave them below.
