NBA Star Paul George of the Indiana Pacers Suffers a Gruesome Injury During the USA Team Scrimmage

NBA superstar and the Indiana Pacer’s key player Paul George suffered a what appears to be “career-ending” leg injury during a friendly basketball scrimmage between the players for the USA team’s players.

Can you still remember the gruesome injury that an NCAA player named Kevin Ware sustained some time ago? How about the Anderson Silva-Chris Weidman match wherein Silva got his shin broken by a Weidman knee block? Paul George have undergone the same suffering as well and it will obviously keep him out of the NBA scene for quite a long time due to his scheduled treatment and rehabilitation.

The injury occurred when Paul George jumped to defend a fast break attack by James Harden with about 9 minutes and a half remaining in the fourth quarter and his leg slammed into the bottom of the backboard foundation to the surprise of every people inside the arena.

NBA fans and other casual sports followers flocked the social media and sports site s to gather more details about George’s injury. His fellow NBA players expressed their support to Paul George as well as their dismay regarding this extremely unfortunate incident.

On the other hand, here’s an announcement made by the Indiana Pacers, the NBA team where Paul George is currently playing.

Players like Lamarcus Aldridge and Kevin Love have already backed out from playing for the USA National Basketball team for reasons like this – suffering an injury which will affect their careers and their value at the same time. However, I hope that NBA players will still support and offer their service to the USA team for different international competitions to come despite of what happened to Paul George. Let us pray for his speedy recovery. We all know how gritty of a defender and how ferocious of a scorer he is. His toughness will surely bring him back to the game very soon.
