Facebook Spam Alert: Vic Sotto versus Jose Manalo over Pauleen Luna

Vic Sotto is once again the subject of the recent Facebook spam threat this time involving his Eat Bulaga co-host Jose Manalo and girlfriend Pauleen Luna.

In the spammy Facebook post that auto-tag the victim’s social network friends, it reported an instance where Jose Manalo used Pauleen Luna as a subject of his joke but went overboard and made Vic Sotto cursed the comedian in national TV.

While the spammy post include a link where would-be victims can watch the video, clicking on it will only lead you to a page where you have to like a certain Facebook page and share it before you’ll be able to watch it. Unfortunately, even after doing the required steps, you won’t be able to watch the said video. In the end, you’ll realize that your account has been hacked and that your friends were already tagged in a spammy post that would just victimized them on the same click-bait technique.

If you or any of your friends were tagged on this similar post, have it reported to Facebook by clicking on “Report Photo”. This will help Facebook to track down the culprits and prevent future victims to be hacked.

Back in July, Vic Sotto was the subject of a Facebook hoax video that reported his death. The said spammy Facebook post leads to a page where a virus will be downloaded once users clicked on it.

As a recommendation, make sure that you are just not clicking on anything without carefully checking if the links are from trusted websites. Make sure as well that you have an updated antivirus software in your computer to block any malicious websites or files.
