The San Juanico Bridge, considered as the longest bridge in the country, was built with children’s blood, particularly street children including babies. The story started when the bridge was under construction and there has been reports of  kidnapping in Samar-Leyte areas. According to the people, the little helpless children were offered as sacrifice to gods by Imelda Marcos to strengthen the every structure of the bridge. The blood of the kids were said to have been mixed in the cement.
