McDonald’s Philippines has released an official statement regarding the complaint of Nikki Vea, after the customer filed a report about the alleged live worm she found in McDonald’s Cheeseburger.
In a statement sent to us by McDonald’s Philippines, the company said that the incident is “currently being investigated.”
“The incident that took place last November 14 in McDonald’s Bajada [Davao City] involving an alleged foreign object in one of our products is currently being investigated.”
The statement also mentioned that “the restaurant is undergoing a series of internal and third party food safety and sanitation checks to ensure that all our products and the environment where they are prepared and cooked, meet our global standards of quality, safety and cleanliness.”

Re: McDonald’s Bajada food issue
The incident that took place last November 14 in McDonald’s Bajada [Davao City] involving an alleged foreign object in one of our products is currently being investigated.
The restaurant is undergoing a series of internal and third party food safety and sanitation checks to ensure that all our products and the environment where they are prepared and cooked, meet our global standards of quality, safety and cleanliness.
We implement strict guidelines and work closely with all our suppliers and partners in following stringent protocols.

This is the usual response from a company that has just had a complaint of this nature lodged against it, however, it does not put at ease the wonders of others that may be wondering if they may have encountered and consumed something of a like nature without their knowledge.

Kung totoo man itong balitang ito wow my proglema talaga,kahit d ko masyadong gusto ang Mcdo pro sana malinis ang pangalan nila jan patalaga sa amin sa Davao?
