Former ‘Pinoy Big Brother’ housemate Lie Reposposa recently took to social media to express her frustrations about being the breadwinner of her family.

In a series of emotional posts on Facebook, Reposposa shared her exhaustion from continuously supporting her family while feeling that her efforts are not fully appreciated.
“Gusto kong umahon sa buhay pero parang ako lang ang lumalaban. Breadwinner daw, pero kailan ba naging winner ang breadwinner? Parang lagi na lang talunan,” she wrote.
The social media personality admitted that she is already tired of helping people who, according to her, seem ungrateful for her sacrifices.
“Pagod na pagod na akong tumulong sa mga taong hindi man lang marunong mag-appreciate, pero ang hirap kapag pamilya mo,” she added.
Earlier that day, Reposposa posted a message in Bisaya that reflected her strong emotions, drawing concern from some followers.
In the comments section of her post, she clarified that the people she was referring to were her own parents.
“Hirap tulungan ng ungrateful parents,” she wrote.
Her statements drew mixed reactions online. Many netizens sympathized with her situation, saying they could relate to the challenges of being a family breadwinner. Others, however, advised her not to publicly air her grievances about her parents.
One Facebook user encouraged Reposposa to reserve something for herself and her future instead of giving everything to her family.
“Don’t make it public kung parents mo kinakasamaan mo ng loob. Magtira ka pa rin sa sarili mo sa future mo. Importante natulungan mo sila, huwag mo ibuhos lahat dahil may sarili ka ring buhay,” the netizen commented.
The commenter also shared personal experiences of supporting their own family while choosing not to publicly express resentment toward their parents.
Reposposa replied candidly to the advice, saying she had simply reached her limit.
“Wala eh, napuno na ako. Di ko na din sila kaya,” she responded.
As of writing, Reposposa’s parents or other family members have not issued any statement regarding the issue.
Dailypedia remains open to hearing the side of those involved in the matter.
