Indonesia’s Bolt Pet Food enters Philippine market, offers affordable nutrition for dogs and cats

With its Philippine launch, Bolt joins the growing selection of pet nutrition brands catering to households seeking practical, everyday feeding options for their dogs and cats.

Indonesia’s top-selling pet food brand Bolt has officially arrived in the Philippines, launching its dog and cat food lineup in Metro Manila on September 11, 2026, as it seeks to make quality pet nutrition more accessible to Filipino households.

Manufactured by CPPETINDO, the brand enters the local market with a selection of complete and balanced formulations offering targeted nutritional benefits at budget-friendly prices. Its Philippine debut also marks the beginning of a planned nationwide expansion through an exclusive partnership with A.D. Gothong.

The launch responds to growing demand among Filipino pet owners who increasingly regard their dogs and cats as family members and are becoming more discerning about the quality, safety and nutritional value of their pets’ food.

“Metro Manila is one of the most dynamic, fast-growing, and passionate pet-loving markets in the country. Filipino pet parents are becoming more discerning about pet nutrition, demanding better ingredients and visible health benefits for their companions,” said CPPETINDO CEO Paulius Juta.

“Top-tier pet care shouldn’t carry a luxury price tag. Bolt is officially launching to bridge that gap—delivering uncompromising quality at a price point every pet parent can afford.”

Bolt’s product portfolio includes formulations developed for different life stages and nutritional requirements.

For cats, the brand offers recipes formulated to support urinary tract health, dental wellness and eyesight, including nutritional features intended to help reduce the risk of Feline Lower Urinary Tract Disease (FLUTD).

Its dog food line incorporates highly digestible proteins, antioxidants, selenium, and Vitamins C and E to support immune function, bone strength and joint health.

The formulations also contain Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids, alongside essential vitamins and minerals, to help maintain healthy skin and a shiny coat.

According to CPPETINDO, Bolt is manufactured under Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) protocols. The company also cites Veterinary Control Number (NKV) certification and compliance with Association of American Feed Control Officials (AAFCO) nutritional guidelines.

The brand’s initial Philippine lineup includes several options for dogs and cats:

  • Dry Cat Food: Adult Tuna, Adult Salmon and Mother & Kitten Salmon.
  • Wet Cat Food: Canned and pouch varieties enriched with taurine to support heart and vision health.
  • Dry Dog Food: Beef, Lamb, Small Breed Adult and Puppy formulations.

Products are available in different packaging sizes, from individual pouches and cans to larger bags suited for regular household consumption.

Bolt, which has received Superbrands recognition in Indonesia, is positioning its Philippine entry around affordability, nutritional quality and product accessibility.

Following its Metro Manila debut, CPPETINDO plans to gradually introduce Bolt to additional markets across Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao through its exclusive partnership with A.D. Gothong.

The collaboration forms part of the company’s long-term strategy to establish a stronger presence in the Philippine pet care industry.

“Bolt’s expansion in Metro Manila is more than a product launch—it is the start of a lasting promise to Filipino pet parents,” Juta said.

“Through strong, strategic alliances with A.D. Gothong, we are investing heavily in the local market for the long haul. We look forward to growing alongside the Philippine pet care community and making high-quality nutrition a reliable standard for every home.”
