Social media personality and entrepreneur Rosmar Tan-Pamulaklakin has announced that she will be giving away iPhones to her followers, while stressing that her promotion has no connection to online gambling.

In a Facebook post, Rosmar said she has long been known for giving away mobile phones to supporters but made it clear that she would not promote gambling platforms as part of the campaign.
“MAMIMIGAY AKO SA MGA SUPPORTERS KO NG IPH0NE tulad ng lagi ko ginagawa. Pero di pa rin ako magpromote ng sugaaaal. Anong kulay gusto n’yo? Pipili tayo. Dapat lagi naka-support at naka-puso. #PINAKAMALAKAS,” she wrote.
She added that she would be giving away older iPhone models so more people could benefit.
“Di sobrang latest para madami mabigyan.”
Although Rosmar did not mention anyone by name, many netizens linked her statement to the recent controversy involving Ivana Alawi, whose announcement of a 100-unit iPhone giveaway drew criticism after participants were reportedly required to follow the online gaming platform she endorses to qualify for the promotion.
Rosmar’s post quickly gained traction on social media, with many users praising her stance against gambling-related promotions. Others took the opportunity to express hopes of being included in her giveaway, while some shared personal stories about why they needed a new mobile phone.
The discussion comes amid growing debate over celebrity endorsements of online gambling platforms, with critics arguing that such promotions could encourage gambling among impressionable audiences. Supporters, meanwhile, maintain that endorsing licensed gaming companies is a legitimate business arrangement.
As of writing, Rosmar has not issued any further statement beyond her Facebook announcement, while Ivana Alawi has yet to respond to comparisons being made between their respective iPhone giveaway campaigns.
