Singer-songwriter Zion Aguirre has unveiled his latest single, Mahiwaga, under Tarsier Records, bringing listeners an alternative dream pop track that celebrates the thrill and wonder of admiration.
Now available on major streaming platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube, Mahiwaga was written by Zion himself and produced by Jhay Ehidio.
The song explores the indescribable feeling of being drawn to someone special and the excitement that comes with forming a meaningful connection.
“I wrote this song para maka-feel ng lightness, kilig, at spark ulit sa buhay,” Zion shared in a social media post.
Before joining Tarsier Records, Zion built a following through independently released songs such as Paradise, Sunshine, and Yakap. In 2020, he officially became part of the label and released Promise and Yakap, which collectively generated more than 1.8 million plays on TikTok.
In 2022, the singer-songwriter released his debut extended play, Bigkas, which featured the single In Another Life. He returned to the music scene in 2025 with the release of Ayoko Na.
The official music video for Mahiwaga premiered on Tarsier Records’ YouTube channel on May 23 and stars former Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0 housemate Fred Moser.
