The picture of a couple riding a bicycle after their wedding has captured the attention of many social media users.

Photos of Tisha Marice De Arroz and Lemuel Bawa-an turned viral after an image of them with the “Just Married” sign was shared on Facebook by netizen Theresa Jane Gutierrez.

“Saw this beautiful couple,” the uploader wrote.

Netizens who reposted the newlyweds’ image wished they could experience the same thing.

During an interview, the couple revealed that the bicycle in the picture is significant in their relationship.

“Yun yung bike na ginamit nya nung 1st meet namin nung papunta siya sa bahay namin, then gamit niya rin yun pang-hatid-sundo sakin sa work, even our kids,” De Arroz said.

She mentioned that Bawa-an uses the same bike to deliver her lunch at work.

She further disclosed that they are single parents with children from previous relationships.

“I have two kids sa ex ko and isa naman sa kanya,” she said.

The couple was supposed to get married on February 14 as part of a city-organized mass wedding.

However, the event was delayed. They rescheduled it for March 3, but that plan fell through, too.

They finally had their wedding on March 11, along with 2,203 other couples, during a grand mass wedding led by Bacolod City Mayor Albee Benitez.
