Benjamin Alves surprises kids featured in the viral ‘Titikman o Tatakpan’ Video

Photos of Clent Raagas and his younger companion receiving a large package from the actor were posted on their Facebook page “Clent and Pambansang Virgin” on Tuesday.

GMA Network artist Benjamin Alves pleasantly shocked the children who created the viral “Titkman o Tatakpan Challenge” video over a year ago by gifting them mobile phones and other goodies.

Photos of Clent Raagas and his younger companion receiving a large package from the actor were posted on their Facebook page “Clent and Pambansang Virgin” on Tuesday.

“Thank you, Kuya Benjamin Alves. We’re so happy po!” the caption said.

“Enjoy, kids,” the actor replied in the comments.

“Thank you so much, kuya!” they responded.

They shared the contents of the package, which consisted of two smartphones, a few gadget chargers, and some gold accessories.

The “Clent and Pambansang Virgin” page conveyed appreciation for the actor’s gesture using emojis of red hearts, a kissing face, and a face with heart-shaped eyes.

The vlogger from Visayas, gained viral attention last year when a snippet of his video featuring him and a younger kid he calls “Pambansang Virgin” ranking male actors and heartthrobs based on whether they would “titikman” (taste) or “tatakpan” (cover) was reposted on a Facebook page.

In the video, when a picture of Alves was shown on the screen, “Pambansang Virgin” coyly responded with “Titikman.”

After “Pambansang Virgin” expressed interest in Alves, he and Clent became excited and screamed in delight.

The two also ranked other male celebrities, including Alden Richards and Joshua Garcia. The video was re-shared in 2021, and in November 2022, Benjamin responded in the comments section with emojis of 100 points and a red heart.

The reposted video has garnered an impressive 2.9 million views, 61,000 genuine laughing reactions, and 6,700 comments.

The responses from Clent and Pambansang Virgin have also become a popular meme among Filipino social media users, with some claiming that it was one of the defining moments of 2022.
