Sharon Cuneta reveals why she paused the construction of a huge Cavite house

Cuneta acknowledged that she has been reevaluating how she’ll be managing her money and investments.

“Megastar,” Sharon Cuneta said that she is currently debating if she should resume building her dream home in Cavite.

As seen in a vlog posted on Dr. Aivee Teo’s YouTube channel on Monday, Dec. 19, the actress told the celebrity doctor about this while she was at the clinic.

While they were talking, Teo asked about the status of Cuneta’s house to which the actress replied, “It’s on pause,” Cuneta answered. “I’m deciding whether to – lots of things have changed.”

Pause lang, not naman stop. But it’s just a matter [of] ‘Do I want to continue pa?’ There are other places you can put your money in,” Cuneta revealed.

As she noted how tired she was, she simply wanted to enjoy life. She also acknowledged that she has been reevaluating how she’ll be managing her money and investments.

Cuneta shared, “I’m thinking that I should just enjoy na lang my money,” she stated. “Because I’m thinking these kids, you’re sending them to school so they can work for themselves. Why am I worrying about them?

In 2020, Cuneta made her home’s construction public. She and her family made their first trip to the house earlier this year, providing an update on the building’s development.

The “Megastar” added, “Basement parking in our forever home halfway done! It’s under half the whole house. Am so excited that we’re moving forward! Construction started August 1 last year then my workers of course took a Christmas break. My contractor said about two months ago when I asked him when he thought they would finish building that he would try his best to be done in a little over two years. I hope tapos na yung “a little over,” pero I know hindi pa!”

Cuneta concluded, “But basta super tibay at magaling ang pagkakagawa at pulido, mabilis lang siguro naman din lilipas ang two years. Sana din wala nang pandemya noon! Galing my workers. Everyone just works and works and in such an organized manner! Galing my contractor, Onet Limchoc of @limchoc.construction and siempre my architect @conrad_onglao ! Praying all goes well til the end. Kakayanin daw ng bahay namin kahit lindol na intensity 9-10! Thank God talaga!
