Michelle Madrigal details how she met her new boyfriend through a dating app

Madrigal and her boyfriend, Kyle were “hesitant” at first to talk about meeting on a dating app, but they’re now “proud” of their story.

Filipino-American former actress Michelle Madrigal finally introduced her boyfriend “Kyle” to her followers, whom she had not previously identified, as she reflected on how their six-month relationship began via a dating app.

The couple participated in the “He Said, She Said” challenge, in which they were each asked questions about their relationship, as seen in a vlog on Madrigal’s YouTube channel on Saturday, December 17. Kyle made his first appearance on Madrigal’s channel in this video.

We met on Hinge, it was a dating app,” she explained when asked how they met. “Obviously, hindi ako masyadong lumalabas being a single mom. Nag-swipe siya and then ako rin, then we started chatting.”

Both were hesitant at first to talk about meeting on a dating app, but they’re now proud of their story.

Madrigal and Kyle talked about how they “clicked” on their first date, which happened at a bar since they both opened up about being single parents and talked about “serious concerns” straight immediately.

Madrigal shared, “I think the reason why was because we were able to talk about past relationships and why single parents,” she stated. “I think it’s really important for me, especially after the divorce. Importante sa akin na ‘yung ide-date ko next time would really understand my situation and ‘yung past ko.”

The former actress pointed out that she is fine with being a stepmom, a capable one at that because she has always wanted a big family.

Exactly four months after finalizing her divorce from Troy Woolfolk, Madrigal introduced Kyle to the general public in August. They both spent time together with their three children, so it seems Woolfolk approves of her romantic partner.

Madrigal and Kyle, both from the US, visited Thailand and the Philippines for 11 days.
