Woman denies she is crazy nor lost after netizen shares photos of her looking miserable

She made it clear that it was her decision to leave her friends and not the other way around

A woman was forced to go on social media and clarify to the public that she is not crazy nor lost after a netizen claimed she was.

Dexter Cainap of Manila uploaded photos of a woman sitting on a curb outside a Jollibee at Vito Cruz. The images show the woman with messy hair clutching onto her belongings looking miserable.

Cainap asked if anyone knew the woman whom he said wasn’t all there mentally, adding that she’s such a waste because of her relatively light skin tone and how well she dressed.

He later edited his post, saying that someone told him that the woman’s friends deserted her.

His post went viral which prompted people to start tagging others and sharing it in an attempt to help the woman.

However, the woman wasn’t crazy after all. Jolina Pastrana Albano, the woman in question, refuted Cainap’s claim.

She made it clear that it was her decision to leave her friends and not the other way around.

“HINDI PO AKO INIWAN LANG TUMAKBO AKO PALABAS SA UNIT AKO NANG IWAN SA MGA KAIBIGAN KO SA TINUTULUYAN NAMIN UMUPO LANG AKO SAGLIT SA MAY VITO CRUZ KASE HINDI AKO PINAPASAKAY SA UV EXPRESS PAUWI SAMIN DAHIL WALA AKONG MASK AT FACESHIELD.

“NAGHANAP PA AKO NG FACESHIELD AT MASK PARA MAKASAKAY AT MAKAUWI NA PAKIDELETE NALANG POST KUYA DEXTER WRONG INFO.” she explained.

Cainap in a recent post publicly apologized, reasoning that all he wanted to do was help.

Posts such as the one Cainap shared are very common on social media. People share stories of the less fortunate to try and get the much-needed help.
