Grade 10 Student cusses a Teacher after constant reminder of passing school requirements

In a viral post that has generated nearly a hundred thousand reactions, Cham said she kept reminding a student of hers about passing the requirements.

Social media users were left wondering whether the youth is still the hope of the future after a teacher was disrespected by one of her students.

Cham Lijat, who is in the teaching profession, went to facebook and shared how one of her students downright disrespected her.

In a viral post that has generated nearly a hundred thousand reactions, Cham said she kept reminding a student of hers about passing the requirements.

The unnamed student has not been attending her classes since October of last year. Being the good teacher that she is, she kept on reminding the student about passing the assignments required to advance to Grade 11.

“Malawak na pagpapasensya at pag-iintindi ang ibinigay ko dahil MAHAL KO ANG MGA ESTUDYANTE KO.” she said.

“On my part as his teacher, hindi ako nagkulang sa pagremind sa kanya. Kahit siniseen lang nya ang messages ko ay patuloy pa rin ako sa pagmessage sa kanya.”

The student complied and sent the requirements through Messenger, but cursed her.

“Ayan na maam putang ina mo,” said the student.

The student then removed the message and replaced it with a kinder one.

Cham asked why she was cursed at and received a “sorry” without an explanation.

She was caught off-guard because she didn’t lack anything in being a teacher. She even treats her students as if they were her children.

“NAPAKASAKIT. Nanginginig pa rin ako. Hindi ko alam kung dahil sa galit o dahil sa sakit na nararamdaman ko,” she wrote.

“Ayan na maam putang ina mo”

Cham has been teaching for eight years now and has never had this kind of experience. She has since reported the student to the school and is awaiting the guidance counselor’s decision.

Social media users were just as surprised as her, saying that teachers should be respected at all times. Some said maybe the student wasn’t raised right, while some said they would’ve failed the student right then and there.
