We are now at the point in life where Adam Sandlers are considered more attractive than Tyson Beckfords. Dad bods have been a thing since 2016.

These body types are usually found in middle aged men which have a combination of muscular and overweight frame.

Planet Fitness did a study that revealed more men and women found dad bods more attractive than the model-like physique.

According to the study, a man with this body type is confident on how he looks and is not concerned about looking good to impress people.

“Nearly four in five among both women and men (78 percent) believe a ‘dad bod’ is a sign of a man who is confident in his own skin.”

The popularity of this physique was boosted by celebrities like Chris Pratt, Eden Hazard, and Danny Dyer.

Chris Pratt says that he needed to get in shape for a movie but gained all the weight back and it did not bother him.

Eden Hazard, one of the highest paid football players, also showed off his dad bod with confidence.

The study also found out that not only are dad bods attractive, 61% of the respondents consider them sexy.

23 million men in the United States claimed to have a dad bod – 71% of whom believed it is universally accepted.

The study is all about body positivity.

“Men who say their ‘dad bod’ has improved their lives this year. They claim their body type has helped them accept themselves (48 percent) or made them less concerned with their appearance (47 percent),” the study says.

So do not worry about looking like a Sean O’Pry, having a dad bod is completely acceptable in today’s society.
