Passengers of a Fortuner wrongly accuse a driver of rear ending their car

  • A Fortuner driver thinks that they got rear ended
  • Woman claiming to be a doctor proceeds to confront the other driver
  • Only when the group realized that there was no accident that happened did they leave

“Madalas, kung sino pa yung may pinag-aralan at nakaka-angat sa buhay, sila pa yung mga bastos.” Johninel Narag was driving just outside Glorietta mall with his friend when he had an unpleasant encounter with another driver.

As seen in his dashcam footage, he was turning left while a Toyota Fortuner that was in front of him was doing the same.

The Fortuner seemed to be taking up all the space so the two cars were very close to each other. The Fortuner hit a small bump in the road but the driver apparently mistook it for Johninel rearending them.

Unaware that the other driver had thought he had rear ended them, Johninel continued driving. The video then shows the Fortuner, on the other side of the road, accelerating quickly and then stopping right in front of Johninel’s car.

Four people then got out of the car and one of them proceeded to tap on the hood of Johninel’s car. The others started looking at their Toyota’s rear end, searching for a dent they assumed Johninel had caused.

They kept on looking while one woman came up to Johninel and started talking aggressively. The woman claimed to be a doctor.

“Ba’t nanginginig ka? Halatang nag papalpitate ka sa itsura mo oh,” the woman said.

Johninel and his friend denied that they had bumped into the Toyota, but the doctor continued to talk to them in a confrontational manner.

She added, “Naramdaman namin eh, ba’t mo dinideny yung ginawa mo? Binangga mo kame.”

It was only after the group from the Fortuner failed to find any damage to the car did they realize that perhaps no such accident happened. The group returned to the car and sped away.
