On April 18, Hualien, Taiwan was hit by a 6.1 magnitude earthquake. Instead of running out themselves, a group of nurses have decided to stay to protect the newborn babies in the nursery facility. These nurses put their life at risk by protecting the helpless babies, which later earned praises from the netizens.
A CCTV footage taken from the facility has shown how these nurses ran to protect the babies. During the earthquake, the nurses started to pick some of the babies and used their bodies as a shield to cover the cribs in case the ceiling might fall.
It can be seen in the footage that the carts and cots in the facility began to shake and roll around when the earthquake hit the area. Salute to the nurses for never leaving the birth room to protect the newborn babies. Truly, these nurses know what their duties and responsibilities are.
Some of the babies started crying because of the earthquake and two of the nurses started to pick them up. The other nurses gathered all the crib to prevent them from rolling around the facility to protect the babies, and it all happened when the 6.1 magnitude earthquake shook the place. Thanks to the hero nurses who never left the babies despite the danger. The earthquake has shaken the buildings which led the people to evacuate as subway services were also shut down for safety. The nurses and the babies in the facility were all safe and netizens praised them for their heroic act.
