Street children caught sniffing solvent while on a taxi, then steal from motorists

  • Netizen posted photos of kids seated on top of a taxi while sniffing solvent.
  • People questioned why there were no traffic enforcers to reprimand the kids who were scaring off motorists.

Shocking stories of street children committing crime on the streets had been spreading in social media websites, and another one has again gone viral.

Facebook user Leonard Smith Yazar shared photos of two street children sitting on top of a taxi. He said that he was travelling along EDSA North-bound when he encountered the boys.

He said that motorists were telling them to go down, but instead of following them, the kids got mad instead. Aside from sitting on top of cars, they also stole from a L300 and fought with the driver and passenger.

When they reached the tunnel, it was discovered that they were not alone, and there were other street children waiting for them.

Leonard also called out the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority and urged them to take action on the situation.

Other netizens even said to just kill the kids because they will just repeatedly come back even if they get apprehended.

A Facebook user said that if ever the kids get into an accident, the driver will still be blamed.
