- She expressed her sadness that the horrifying incident was said to have happened after the victim watched one of their shootings.
Kapamilya star MayMay Entrata was heartbroken upon watching the September 22 episode of ABS-CBN’s Ipaglaban Mo.
The episode featured the story of Helena (played by Ryza Cenon), a mentally-disabled woman who was raped and harassed by two men. The incident ended in a tragedy and MayMay felt a personal connection to the victim as it turned out that the woman is a fan of MayMay’s love team with Edward Barber.
In the scene before the rape incident, Helena was trying to watch a filming near their area. Maymay and Edward’s names can be heard, muttered by the people around her.
As the incident took place after the victim watched MayWard’s filming, MayMay got even more saddened by the crime.

The star also expressed her hopes to see the real Helena in person as the episode made a deep impact to her.

She also took her sadness to her Instagram stories, asking if the incident is real and if it happened because of them.
Other MayWard fans were also heartbroken because of the said episode.
