“Sa mga mommy na nag bebreastfeed sa public…” Netizen defends Breastfeeding in Public

  • Netizen defended a mother’s right to breastfeed in public.
  • She said that her child’s hunger is much more important than what other people’s thoughts.

Breastfeeding is widely accepted as a good thing since a mother’s milk is more nutritious and beneficial for the baby in terms of health. When it comes to breastfeeding in public, however, it’s not exactly receiving a welcoming feedback or response.

A Facebook user named Maine De Villa Rosello defended a mother’s right for public breastfeeding against a man that put an ‘angry’ reaction in one of her photos wherein she’s breastfeeding her child.

When asked why he reacted angrily, the Netizen named Paul Vincent Marcelo, replied that if the breastfeeding is done in a public place, “Anyare na kay Maria Clara?”

He also added that he will not delete his initial reaction until the woman covers her breast while doing the act of breastfeeding.

My reaction is angry whe ?? Yung goal mo magnda yes its truth mas ok yung breast feeding good for baby and mommy pero kung sa public mo gagawin anyare na kay maria clara ?? It’s likely liberated like americans and we are not .. Sorry mam

So i won’t delete it … We are not americans mam… Kindly please cover it before i react happy

Rosello posted an open letter to Marcelo, saying that she got hurt by the angry reaction and the reason why other moms use formula milk was because of men like him.

Dear Sir Paul Vincent Marcelo;

Nakiusap ako sayo ng ayos pero masakit yang Angry mo.

Alam mo ba kung bakit madaming nanay ang mas gusto mag formula milk? Dahil sa mga taong kagaya mo.

She proceeded to remind breastfeeding mothers need not be shy in doing it in public because they’re doing nothing wrong. The determined mother said that pleasing others is not as important as feeding their hungry baby.

Magiging lesson sakin to 🙂
Sa mga mommy na nag bebreastfeed sa public, HINDI PO NATIN KAILANGAN MAHIYA DAHIL WALA PO TAYONG GINAGAWANG MASAMA! HINDI NATIN MAPE-PLEASE ANG LAHAT NG TAO NA MATUWA O MAAPPRECIATE ANG GINAGAWA NATIN PARA SA MGA ANAK NATIN 🙂
ANG MAHALAGA KAPAG NAGUTOM ANG ANAK NATIN PADEDEHIN NATIN KAILAN MAN! NASAAN MAN 🙂

ANG ADHIKAIN NAMING ITO AY PARA SA MGA TAONG HANDANG SUMUPORTA, MARUNONG RUMESPETO AT MAY MALAWAK NA PANG-UNAWA SA ISANG NANAY NA CONCERN SA KALUSUGAN NG MGA ANAK NILA!

She called out to Marcelo, saying that he’s free to unfriend her if he’s against her advocacy and told him to ask his mom if it’s wrong to breastfeed in public.
