Hayden Kho defends himself against a Netizen

  • Hayden Kho defended himself from a Netizen who mocked him regarding the bible passage he shared on his Instagram.
  • Kho explained that he is serious about the Word of God as he learned his lessons from the mistakes he did in the past.

After his scandals have proliferated online more than 10 years ago, celebrity doctor and husband of Dra. Vicky Belo, Hayden Kho quickly defended himself after a Netizen negatively left a comment on his Instagram posts.

Kho posted a photo of the bible verse 1 Corinthans 6:19-20 which read “Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were brought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.”

He wrote another verse on the caption. “There’s more to sex than mere skin on skin. Sex is as much spiritual mystery as physical fact. As written in Scripture, “The two become one.” Since we want to become spiritually one with the Master, we must not pursue the kind of sex that avoids commitment and intimacy, leaving us more lonely than ever—the kind of sex that can never “become one.” There is a sense in which sexual sins are different from all others. In sexual sin we violate the sacredness of our own bodies, these bodies that were made for God-given and God-modeled love, for “becoming one” with another. ‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭6:16-18‬ ‭MSG‬‬”

Despite the inspirational message, a netizen left a comment criticizing him. The Instagram user wrote, “This coming from you is a joke.”

Kho responded saying that he has lived his youth recklessly which resulted for him being a laughing stock. He added that he has now found his way through God and he just wanted to share to others what he learned.

@meggiesy oh I take this seriously. I lived my life recklessly in my youth asked I became the laughing stock of people like you. I learned my lesson the hard way through God’s merciful discepline. Now I just want to share with others what I learned, especially to the younger generation, so that they won’t make the same mistake. Anyway, “out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speakes.” This is what’s on mine and you just revealed what’s on yours.
