Kapuso boy group One Up comments on boy groups who lip sync

  • Boy band One Up releases first single
  • One Up says something about boy bands who lip sync

GMA Artist Center’s very own One Up is really going nowhere but up! The boy group just released their newest single ‘Smile’, a song that was composed by Kiko Salazar and produced by GMA Records.

You make us SMILE

One Up’s first single “Smile” talks about a guy who has a crush on a girl and wants to be always around her. It tells a message of how that guy values the girl’s smile ever so dearly. “Smile” is now available for download and streaming on iTunes, Spotify, and in over 180 digital stores worldwide.

Music video? Don’t worry. The shooting is done, and the video is set to be released by the end of January. So, watch out!

On lipsyncing boybands

In all fairness to the group, they performed live during the BlogCon held at the Cave in Tomas Marato on January 23.

So, when asked what are their thoughts about their co-boybands who lipsync while performing, Jay Arcilla stepped up and said,

“Kung nahihirapan din sila, syempre hindi natin kailangan i-judge sila,” Arcilla defended. “Kasi mahirap din yung ginagawa nila… siguro, kailangan natin sila maintindihan,” he ended.
