Abella strictly followed the rules of her own game. She treated each fifty-peso bill as something invisible, whenever she receives a change in such amount. She didn’t use any of those bills to pay for whatever expense she had and decided to make use of what’s left in her money which is not a P50 bill.

After five months, she saved 846 pieces of 50 peso bills – amounting to P42, 300.

Yes, you’ve read that right. She was able to save a huge amount of money, enough to even buy herself a ticket overseas!

“Sobrang disiplina ginawa ko dito, kasi naniniwala ako na kapag gusto maraming paraan, kapag ayaw maraming dahilan,” she added.

Netizens were shocked to see how much she’d saved over the last five months. However, some of them thought that it isn’t possible to earn that much if a person would only save one fifty-peso bill a day – which led them to the assumption that Abella was probably a rich kid.
