Ten Reasons Antonio Trillanes IV should be the next VP of the Philippines

Antonio “Sonny” Trillanes IV is the only vice presidential candidate without a running mate. He probably is one of the most controversial candidates as well because of the Oakwood mutiny in 2003. However, Trillanes is also one of the most productive government officials in the country.

Here are top ten reasons he should get elected as the next vice president of the Philippines:

1. Academic Excellence

Trillanes graduated with an Electronic and communications engineering degree from the De La Salle University. He also graduated cum laude from the Philippine Military Academy (PMA) with a degree in Naval System Engineering in 1995.

2. Most productive senator

According to his official website, he is the top most productive senator with 63 bills passed into law and 1,109 bills and resolutions filed.

3. A Hero

In 1998, a super typhoon wreaked havoc on the M/V Princess of the Orient at sea. Trillanes was one of the Navy personnel who risked his life in order to save the survivors of the accident.
