A lady from Shandong, China named Zhang had an itchy, strange, gooey discharge on her left eye which she thought was just a minor infection. But the infection turned out to be worse than she ever imagined.
According to reports, Zhang had already been admitted to Haida Hospital in Shandong province on July 20 after suffering from a stroke and thought that her eye problems might just be another symptom of issues that staff were already treating her for. Her son took a closer look and found something moving on her eyelid. That something turned out to be lice infesting her eyelashes.
The lice were sterilized and removed one by one by nurses with tweezers. The specialist, Dr. Bao Guisheng, said the lice “were all white in color.”

The video shows a fully-grown louse crawling between Zhang’s lashes where it already laid its eggs.
