For years, men have been obsessed with one question about their manhood: “Does size really matter?”

While a few can directly ask their partners about it, some choose not to, fearing they will not like the answer. Fortunately for shy guys, science has come up with an answer.

A group of Swiss scientists at the University of Zurich conducted a study involving 105 women, ages 16-45, asking them to rank the importance of eight penile aspects from very Unimportant (1) to Very Important (5). They were given a standardized questionnaire with 20 photosets of male genitalia.

Here’s the ranking from the MOST important to the LEAST important aspect for women when it comes to male genitalia.

1.The general cosmetic appearance.

2. The pubic hair.

3. The penile skin.

4. The penile girth.
