Ayala Malls’ Style Origin fused local and international brands in a runway event

Ayala Malls has once again presented Style Origin, the recently concluded fashion show that gives fashion enthusiasts and patrons a view of latest clothing from top brands and designers.

“Style Origin is a lifestyle series presented by Ayala Malls to bring the latest in fashion and design to our shoppers. We are proud to present this across eleven premier Ayala Malls this year. Beyond trends, Style Origin celebrates what’s new and what’s next in clothing and design,” Trinoma General Manager Maan Paras said.

The annual fashion event held at TriNoma Activity Center last June 6 and 7,weekends, lined up three shows featuring Mensweek, Global Brands and Homegrown labels.

Mensweek, which offered collections created for male’s styles and tastes, featured clothes from some of the sought after designers in the country such as Sassa Jimenez, Herbert Custodio, James Reyes, and M Barretto.

The first High Street Fashion Show showcased lifestyle-must-haves from international brands including Zara, Topshop, Mango, Cotton On, Giordano, and Marks & Spencers.

The last leg of event put the spotlight in showing what local brands have to offer and was participated by different Filipino clothing lines such as Penshoppe, Plains & Prints, Artwork, Big & Small Co., and Gingersnaps.

Celebrity ambassadors like Kylie Padilla, Carl Guevara, Aicelle Santos, Louise Delos Reyes, Matt Evans shared the runaway stage with co-models. Iya Villania and The Voice Ph Grand Winner Season 2 Jason Dy were present also and performed in the last leg of the show.

The splendid and vigorous display of collections in the ramp was under the direction of Ariel Lozada.

Failed not to bring the unifying fusion of top brands locally and internationally, the conveyed idea of the show captured audience in great awe.

“Our director shared that the intention is to create a unifiying element in terms of set design because we are showing both menswear from local designers, and collections from High Street brands. The set can be interpreted as a pile of scrap wood trimmings, or a magnified thread from a fabric,” Paras said.

Featured apparels are all available in Trinoma, one of the leading lifestyle and shopping destinations in North.

Style Origin was supported by The Philippine STAR; TIGER 22 media corporation and its exclusive radio station partners, Magic 89.9, Wave 89.1, Jam 88.3, 99.5 Play FM and 103.5 K-Lite; and Starworld.

Catch Style Origin as it will continue touring around Ayala Malls nationwide: Fairview Terraces (June 14), Bonifacio High Street (June 20), Harbor Point (July 4), and Ayala Center Cebu (July 11-12).
