WATCH: This is Why You Should Always Keep An Eye on Your Children

Safety should always a parent’s highest concern. Sometimes, just a few minutes of not paying attention can put children in danger.

A video of a Chinese boy falling off an escalator in a mall was posted last May 24, 2015 and went viral on social media.

At the beginning of the video caught on CCTV, two boys were seen playing around the mall. Afterwards, the older boy rode the escalator to go down to the first floor. The younger boy who was left behind grabbed hold of the moving handrail which pulled him off his feet, causing him to fall.

The toddler survives

At the end of the video, you can see the toddler as he falls from the upper floor. According to Metro, the two-year-old Chinese boy who fell from the escalator survived the accident. Fortunately, the boy was brought to the hospital after the incident and is now recovering from his fall.
