Kristina Sergio allegedly asks Another Passenger to Carry Her Luggage for Excess Weight

In the midst of pursuing the case Department of Foreign Affairs filed against Kristina Sergio, the alleged trafficker who duped Mary Jane Veloso into carrying 2.6 kilogram of heroin in Indonesia, there came another passenger who admitted she has been asked purportedly by Sergio to include her luggage because of the latter’s excess weight.

Luisa de Guzman said that she was shocked upon seeing the photo of the Filipina recruiter, who allegedly deceived Veloso, as she was the same lady who asked her permission to carry her luggage in check-in counter.

“She is the same girl that asked me a favor to include her luggage in my check-in baggage during my [Thailand] trip,” de Guzman said.

“She said that the bag is mostly chocolates and milk for her nieces and nephews,” she added.

Knowing she still haven’t exceeded the limitation of her baggage allowance, she agreed upon the request.

However, a couple who she met in the airport told her not carry luggages from any strangers.

“A couple approached me not to accept it and not to trust her because so many people even your fellow citizen will put you in danger.

“I made an alibi, and told her my sister called me and told me not to accept it,” she said.

The lady passenger thanked God for sending her people, who helped her to arrive in her decision not to accept the luggage that may supposedly contain malicious things other than chocolates and milk.

She ended the post by saying,”I’m 100% sure that she is the girl I encountered in Thailand Swuanabumi Airport.”

An alleged issue leaves a lesson that never ever carry baggage for other people at all times. Advise politely that they can just pay for the overweight bag charges. In the first place, they should be mindful that their baggage will meet the maximum weight provided in their tickets to avoid additional charges or else they have some “secret” operations to do or we do not know yet. Remember, pay as you weigh.

Here is Luisa de Guzman’s post on Facebook dated April 28,  the same expected day of Veloso’s execution by firing squad but was last-minute spared due to the request of Aquino proposing her to testify against Sergio.
