People do all sorts of things to find love they have always wanted. However, for one person who cannot wait any longer for that special someone, she looked in the mirror and guess what? Yap. She married HERSELF.

A local of Houston, Texas, Yasmin Eleby promised herself, when she was just 38 years old, that if she cannot find a partner by the age of 40, she would marry herself.
And so, she kept that promise.
Just this month, Yasmin walked down the aisle arm in arm with her mom in a ‘spiritual service’ since it is not legal to marry yourself.
The wedding was witnessed by her friends and family and hosted at the Houston Museum of African American Culture.
Pouring her heart on Facebook, she said,
I really don’t have the words to adequately describe the plethora of emotions that I’ve felt over the past few weeks. I was overwhelmed with the outpouring of love and support that was shown to me during my celebration of love and life.
It does not end there.
She is now considering in taking an extended honeymoon in Cambodia, Laos, and later this year, in Dubai.
