They Tried To Take A ‘Daredevil’ Train Selfie. The Result, Tragic.

People nowadays have been defying circumstances only to take selfies to post on social media.

In India, three young men died in an attempt to take  photos of themselves on the rail tracks as close to an oncoming train as possible.

The incident started when four college students were driving  to the Taj Mahal to celebrate the Republic Day.

When they saw a train approaching from far away, they went to the adjacent tracks to take photos as the train speeds by.

However, their plan cost them their lives as they did not see that there was another train approaching on the tracks they were on.

One student named Aneesh barely escaped telling Times of India that his friends were killed instantly. He described that their daredevil act went horribly wrong when the speeding train knocked them down before they could jump off the track.

In an interview with police officer Arvind Kumar Singh, he said, “They were moving on one track taking photographs, they saw the train on the Delhi-Mathura line and shifted to the other line. Unfortunately a train was coming on the other line in the other direction.”

Police have sent the bodies for autopsy. They also hope that to establish more details in the coming days.

Sadly, this same fatal accident has happened  in Spain  when one woman fell off  while trying to take a selfie form the ledge of a bridge.
