According to the website, they did not hack the security cameras. Since the owners did not change their default passwords, the footages are accessible online. Many security camera users take for granted the importance of resetting the default password.

The website which aims  “to show the importance of the security settings” streams over 70,000 videos from 256 countries. In the Philippines, around 400 clips can be browsed through the site.

As of press time, none of the videos are loading.

If you see your CCTV being broadcasted in the site, you just need to change your password to remove it.
