Jake Gyllenhaal, Rene Russo and Bill Paxton stars in in writer-director Dan Gilroy’s crime drama “Nightcrawler.” The story revolves around Lou Bloom (Gyllenhaal), a driven young man, discovers the nocturnal world of L.A. crime journalism. Joining a group of freelance camera crews who film marketable mayhem. Lou makes his own place at the table, aided by Nina (Russo), a veteran of the blood-sport that is TV news.
