Finding the right hotel in Boracay can make or break your vacation. While the island is filled with accommodations ranging from budget hostels to luxury resorts, Azalea Hotels & Residences Boracay stands out by offering something many travelers need but often struggle to find—spacious apartment-style suites combined with the convenience of a hotel.

During RAWRTrip’s four-day, three-night stay in Boracay, our group of 10 checked into five rooms at Azalea Hotels & Residences Boracay, giving us enough time to experience not just the accommodations but also the service and amenities that make the property a popular choice for families and barkadas.
Azalea Hotels & Residences Boracay enjoys a prime location along the main road in Station 2, placing guests close to many of the island’s attractions.
D’Mall Boracay is just a short walk away, while White Beach can be reached in just a few minutes. Its location also makes commuting around the island convenient, with restaurants, cafés, souvenir shops, and transport options all nearby.
Another highlight is the hotel’s transfer service. From the moment we arrived in Caticlan, the staff assisted us with our luggage, coordinated our transfers, facilitated our environmental fees and boat tickets, and accompanied us until we safely reached the hotel.
One of Azalea’s biggest strengths is its accommodations.
Unlike the typical hotel room, Azalea offers one-, two-, and three-bedroom suites designed to give guests more living space. For families and large groups, this setup makes a huge difference.

Our rooms were spacious, bright, and impeccably clean. The beds were soft and comfortable, making it easy to recharge after long days exploring Boracay. The rooms also had a fresh scent throughout our stay, a small but welcome detail that made coming back each evening even more relaxing.
Each suite is thoughtfully equipped with amenities that make longer stays more comfortable. Aside from plush beds and a cozy living area with a sofa and flat-screen TV, guests also have access to a fully equipped kitchenette complete with a microwave, electric stovetop, refrigerator, electric kettle, kitchen utensils, plates, and glasses.

For travelers who prefer preparing light meals or snacks, this feature is especially useful.
Our two-bedroom suite also came with two bathrooms—one connected to the master’s bedroom and another shared bathroom—making it convenient for groups getting ready at the same time. Both bathrooms were stocked with complete toiletries and featured hot and cold showers, vanity mirrors, hair dryers, and ironing facilities.
Another thoughtful addition is the waterproof RFID wristband that serves as an alternative room key, making it easy to access your room without carrying a keycard while out exploring the island.
While Boracay’s famous White Beach is only a short walk away, there are days when you simply don’t feel like dealing with the crowds or getting sand between your toes.
That’s where Azalea’s rooftop infinity pool becomes one of the hotel’s best amenities.

The rooftop offers a more relaxed atmosphere for guests who simply want to cool off without leaving the property. It also provides a beautiful view of the surrounding area, especially during sunset when the sky transforms into shades of orange and pink.
Whether you’re taking a quick dip after a day of island hopping or spending a lazy afternoon poolside, the rooftop pool is an excellent alternative to the beach and easily became one of our favorite spots in the hotel.
Each morning began with a hearty breakfast at Kuya J Restaurant, conveniently located within the hotel.

The breakfast buffet offered a good selection of Filipino favorites along with other breakfast staples that kept us energized before heading out for our daily activities.
Beyond the restaurant, Azalea also offers concierge services to help guests arrange island hopping tours, spa treatments, transportation, and other Boracay activities.
One thing that consistently impressed our team throughout our stay was the quality of service.
The staff were always approachable, friendly, and quick to respond to our requests. Whether it was helping us book transportation, answering questions, or assisting with our luggage, they made every interaction effortless.

Their attentiveness became even more evident after I sustained a minor injury during our island tour. The hotel immediately had a medic available to check on my condition—a reassuring reminder that guest care extends beyond the usual hospitality.
Even on our departure day, the front office contacted us in advance to confirm our transfer schedule and ensure everything was ready before checkout.
Azalea Hotels & Residences Boracay offers more than just a comfortable place to stay—it provides the convenience of apartment-style living with the service and amenities of a full-service hotel.
Its spacious suites, complete kitchen facilities, rooftop swimming pool, strategic Station 2 location, and attentive staff make it an excellent option for families, groups of friends, and travelers planning extended stays in Boracay.
For those looking for accommodations that combine comfort, practicality, and warm Filipino hospitality, Azalea Hotels & Residences Boracay is a property well worth considering for your next island getaway.
