Lego Features Band Icons Ready To Rock In Digital Era

In the world of rock music nothing divides and enrages loyal fans more than changing a key member of a popular band. Many rock fans seem to expect their favorite rock bands stay together with their original members forever. Changing band members is not a new phenomenon.

Some bands are known for having the same lineup for years and others change members frequently. It is rare for a band with any longevity to retain the same members for an entire career.  As a general rule, replacing guitarists, bassists, and drummers usually causes the least amount of fan unrest.

Lego people turn up in all sorts of guises: from city police to castle knights to Ninjago characters. Adly Syairi Ramly saw something missing from the list: iconic bands. So Ramly, a former music critic, went ahead and created his own Lego characters in the form of his favorite bands.

Lego has made a huge comeback. Not only are they in our movies and video games, but creators and modelers everywhere are exploring the possibilities of the Danish-born toy, especially when it comes to all things music. Now, artist and die-cast junkie Adly Syairi Ramly has added to Lego-mania by recreating 20 iconic bands, and the results will knock your block right off. Ramly re-imagines iconic acts like The Smiths, Radiohead, Beastie Boys, Pearl Jam, Green Day, and among others.
