HOW DOES SILOG AWARDS VOTING WORK?
Following the same system used through the years, the SILOG Awards utilizes a three-part voting format designed to provide a balanced representation of audience support, online presence, and industry participation.
Winners of the SILOG Awards 2026 will be determined through:
- 33.33% – Online Votes via Dailypedia — Fans can vote up to four times a day, with voting access refreshing every six hours.
- 33.33% – Online Search Metrics — Based on online search and digital metrics gathered from LionhearTV, Dailypedia, and PH Entertainment.
- 33.33% – Industry Votes — Votes coming from bloggers, PR teams, and brand partners.
With fans accounting for the online voting component, supporters have the opportunity to rally behind their favorite creators throughout the voting period, while the other two components measure broader digital presence and input from members of the media and communications industry.
Beyond its culinary meaning, SILOG symbolizes the relationship between creators and their audiences. The “maven” represents the creator or personality behind the content, while the audience represents the users and demographics who continuously support, follow, and engage with their online presence.
Much like a silog meal takes on a distinct character depending on the main ingredient paired with sinangag at itlog, each digital creator brings a unique flavor, personality, perspective, and experience that connects with Filipino online audiences.
Voting for the SILOG Awards 2026 starts today, October 8, and will run until November 4, 2026.
