Entertainment columnist Cristy Fermin has claimed that the children of the incoming Television and Production Exponents Inc. (TAPE Inc.) chairman Romeo Jalosjos are attempting to have current ‘Eat Bulaga!’ Employees resign.
Fermin revealed on her online program ‘Showbiz Now Na’ the possible person to be removed from the show; the show’s original producer, Tony Tuviera.
Fermin shared, “Pinangalanan na po ang mga personalidad na sangkot dito sa kumpanya na ito. Ang nakasanayan na po natin, na nakikita sa mundo ng showbiz sa lokal na aliwan, na si Mr. Tony Tuviera.”
“Ang tinutukoy na sinasabing mag-take over sa pamamalakad ng ‘Eat Bulaga!’ ay yung pinakamalaking share sa TAPE Inc., Romeo Jalosjos Sr,” she shared.
According to Fermin, the children of the ex-congressman visited TAPE Inc.’s office on February 28. She revealed, “Ang unang-una raw na ginawa ng magkakapatid na ito ay pumasok sa office ni Mr. Tuviera, tinanggalan siya ng mesa, tinanggalan ng kagamitan at yung anak nga ni Ginoong Jalosjos ang naupo duon.”
Fermin revealed that Jalosjos’ daughter expressed her interest in hosting the show, while his sons are said to be interested in managing the business.
She narrated, “Tapos ang sumunod na kwento po ng aming impormante, binigyan daw po ng mass resignation ang lahat ng mga miyembro ng produksyon. Lahat ng miyembro ng produksyon, may mass resignation na dapat gawin. At ang kanilang sabi: ‘Babalikan na lang namin ang kung sino ang gusto namin kuhanin.’”
“Yan ang mundo. Mamimili ka talaga – kanan or kaliwa. Kung saan ka maligaya, talagang duon ka,” she added.
She said that Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon would be taken out with Tuviera.
Fermin also said that reports about Willie Revillame taking over the show as a replacement for Tito, Vic, and Joey are untrue.
The columnist expressed, “Sana naman kung saan man paroroon ang programang ito, para sa nakakarami pa rin. Walang masaktang manggagawa, walang mga host na malalagay sa alanganin. At higit sa lahat sana ang publiko ang magkaroon ng malaking partisipasyon.”
It has recently been revealed that Jaloslos seeks to take complete control of the noontime show.
According to sources, Jalosjos is reportedly trying to remove Tuviera, who currently serves as the CEO and president of TAPE Inc, which has been producing Eat Bulaga since 1979.
Jalosjos and Tuviera own the company, but Jalosjos has the most stake.
Jalosjos is considering replacing Tito, Vic, and Joey with comedians Jose Manalo, Wally Bayola, and Allan K.
As the issues within TAPE Inc. continue, the TVJ trio has supposedly met with Manalo, Bayola, and Allan K to consider creating a TV show called ‘Dabarkads’. This would feature all six of them.
