On Tuesday, administration senatorial candidate Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa said that during the 90-days campaign period for the 2019 Election, he will withstand the “plastikan” or insincerity acts despite of fatigue.

During an interview with ABS-CBN news, senatorial candidate Dela Rosa related his first two weeks as a neophyte joining  the politics experiencing an exhausting campaigned period. The former national police chief started complaining to his wife of being so tired.

“Sortie dito, sortie doon. Selfie dito, selfie doon. Kamay dito, kamay doon. Hello dito, hello doon.

Sige tingnan mo nangyari sa buhay mo ngayon,'” he added.

As a motivation to continue with the campaign, he compared the length of his training in the Philippine Military Academy (PMA) and the duration of the campaign period and he is still confident that he can get through this within 90 days.

Based on the Pulse Asia survey released last week, with a statistical chance of winning the Senate position, Dela Rosa ranked 11th among the 16th candidates.

Because of his limited funds and campaign posters, he recognized his poll rating as compared with the other senatorial candidates. Some of the election ads have been flagged down by the Commission of Election for violating rules of the campaign.

The revival of the death penalty bill is his priority in winning the elections. If ever he will lose the fight, he still assured his supporters that he will give a good fight.
