In an episode of Magandang Buhay, Moira dela Torre and Jason Hernandez shared their preparations for their wedding which took place on Monday, January 14.
They revealed the reason behind their decision to hold their civil wedding days before their actual wedding day. James said it was because of the pastor who officiated the wedding.

“Kasi si Pastor James, ‘yung mag-oofficiate ng wedding namin, Australian siya. Tapos ‘yung license niya po, hindi siya sa Philippines. So para po wala ng (pipirmahan) sa wedding day namin, nag-civil wedding na po kami para celebration na lang po talaga.”

And why didn’t they have their first kiss yet? It was because of Jason’s promise to Moira’s father to have their first official kiss on the wedding day itself. It was technically okay to do it on the civil wedding, however, they did not want it to happen in the city hall.
Moira admitted that she had difficulty with writing her vows as she kept on getting too emotional.
“Kinakabahan nga po ako kasi hindi ko nga po natatapos ‘yung wedding vows ko. (Kasi) naiiyak ako.”

On the other hand, Jason saved his in the form of voice memos.
“Ako po mga voice memos. Kapag nagda-drive ako, tapos may naisip ako na gusto kong sabihin sa kanya, nire-record ko agad, ‘di ko muna sinusulat.”
