Although cancer is the third leading cause of morbidity and mortality in the Philippines, it can be treated. It is a debilitating disease that changes not only the patient’s life, but the people around him as well. What is important is the support and the willingness to combat and win against this disease.
In 2014, the world was awed when a terminally ill patient fulfilled a wish before losing the battle against liver cancer. Rowden Go married the woman of his dreams just hours before he passed on.

This year, in 2015, Rowden’s brother, Chef Hasset Go, is also battling the same disease.

Who is Chef Hasset?
Chef Hasset Go, also known as the “Sweets Master” is a Chef, Consultant, Food Stylist, Instructor/Teacher and businessman, and is affiliated with MEDCHEF (Homemade Cakes, Pastries and Desserts), Personal Chef Manila, Culinary Institute of Cagayan de Oro. A local of Oroquieta City in Misamis Occidental, he also a recipient of numerous awards in culinary like the Global Excellence Award-Asian Star Achiever Award for Culinary, People’s Choice Award for Culinary. How can we help Chef Hasset?
On July 31, 2015, Friday, at 8 p.m., a “Benefit show for Chef Hasset” will be held at Chef’s Noodles at SM City North EDSA (near Hypermart) in Quezon City.

Through the benefit show that we are putting up for Rowden’s brother, Chef Hasset, who is also suffering from liver cancer, we will be able to raise funds for Chef Hasset’s well-being. That he may live longer and continue to be the great man that he already is. #ForChefHasset
